Job description

What you’ll do 

As our Training Specialist, you own our customer-facing training function. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our clients' operators and managers are well-equipped to utilize our products effectively and in facilitating smooth communication between our software developers, oil rig operators, and managers. In this role, you define and execute our training strategy, create training programs and materials, and deliver online training from your desk to our customers around the world.  
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Training Delivery: Organize and deliver remote (online) training sessions to operators and managers at our clients' sites, ensuring they understand the value of our products and why and how they should use them to support 24/7 operations worldwide.  
• Training Development: Create a comprehensive training strategy, programs and materials, covering all aspects from the basics (why) to detailed instructions (how) for both, our Red Zone application and the Helin Platform. This includes designing, developing and implementing distance learning solutions, in selected platforms.  
• Training Maintenance: Continuously update and maintain training materials, based on participant feedback and input from our development team on product updates. 
• Sales Support: Support our sales team by explaining our product’s features, benefits, and usage for different user groups. 
• Independent Leadership: Lead the customer-facing training function independently, demonstrating strong initiative and leadership skills. 

Qualifications

Who are you? 
 
Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live it and breathe it. To thrive in this team, it's important to take ownership of training. With strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, you excel at connecting with diverse groups and leading a customer-facing function. 
 
In addition, you: 

1. Are a resident of The Netherlands and have a valid work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations). 
2. Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in creating and delivering online training programs, covering the basics (why) to detailed instructions (how). 
3. Have experience in developing e-learning modules for software applications in collaborating with software developers. 
4. Are familiar with the oil and gas industry, particularly creating and delivering training to offshore operations and 24/7 operational environments. 
5. Have excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.  
6. Possess a degree in Instructional Design, Communications, or equivalent.
