Why this Role Matters
As Account Executive, you are the SmartGrid expert and position Helin at the forefront of analytics and SaaS advancements within the renewable energy industry.
  
With the Helin Smart Grid Manager we enable our customers to maximize the return on their investment in Solar, Wind and Battery. Your typical customers are companies trading on the energy markets and companies which own some the largest renewable energy assets in your region. You develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with Helin's overall go-to-market strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. You engage with customers to lead the way in Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing. 

In addition, you bring the voice of the customer to the rest of the team and work closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, pre-sales and product development, to ensure a coordinated and customer-centric approach.

What You'll Achieve
  • End-to-end Sales: Develop and execute strategic account plans targeting larger enterprises and own the entire end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing multi-million ARR deals. The average length of the cycles would be between 3-6 months.
  • Lead Generation: Drive outbound prospecting and lead-generation efforts while also managing inbound opportunities (referrals). Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in complex B2B enterprise environments, within the energy and industrial sector. Represent Helin at industry events and conferences, and networking forums to establish brand presence. 
  • Consultative Sales : Lead consultative selling efforts and close agreements by understanding clients' business models, operational challenges, and technology gaps, presenting Helin's innovative solutions to address their unique challenges. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, pre-sales, and product development, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within Helin, providing feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation of our products.
  • KPI’s: Forecast and track sales performance against revenue goals, pipeline health, deal velocity and conversion rates.
What You Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and navigating B2B environments with multi-stakeholder engagement.
  • Consultative selling and experience managing mid-long sales cycles (3-6 months).
  • Ability to articulate solutions in a way that resonates with business decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in high-growth, scale-up environments where ownership, agility and adaptability are key.
Nice to Have
  • Background in renewable energy, industrial safety, maritime, or smart grid solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise analytics (e.g. cybersecurity concerns and how they impact SaaS adoption)
