Job description
As our Director of Sales & Marketing, you will drive our revenue growth and define and steer our sales & marketing strategy. You will lead by example, driving your team and the company's growth with a can-do mentality, working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team and the rest of the leadership.
Your key KPI is signed ARR for our product, Helin Platform. You should have experience in enterprise SaaS sales, both corporate and within scale-ups, and a clear vision of proactively evolving marketing, business development, and account management departments during all our growth phases. You'll also be responsible for establishing data-driven decision-making processes and reporting structures.
Moreover, we value clear communication and a passion for technical aspects. We seek a self-starter who is not just a goal-getter but also aligns with our cultural values and can articulate a clear vision on how to build and shape our commercial department.
Our current customers are in the energy (renewables and oil and gas) and in the maritime sectors.
Qualifications
Who are you?Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live and breathe it. This role is both strategic and hands-on level. You can think both long term and short term and work both levels.

Next to that:
- You have at least 7 years of experience building and leading B2B sales and marketing teams and scoring sales in an international (enterprise) sales role of complex SaaS or PaaS technology.
- It would be a big plus if you worked in the (renewable/oil and gas) energy market, marine or similar industrial markets.
- Ideally you have experience in a fast-growing start-up/scale-up, setting up and implementing best practices, processes and systems, as well as data-driven decision-making and reporting structures.
- You are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations).
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration or equivalent- and proven experience with sales, marketing, business development, and account management.
- You have exceptional English communication skills and work successfully across cultures and diverse stakeholders.
