Why this Role Matters

As Implementation Engineer, you will help transform industrial operations across Europe by deploying scalable IoT solutions that enable real-time decisions in renewable energy and maritime environments. Your work directly improves safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency for Helin’s customers.

What You'll Achieve

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of IoT solutions across solar, geothermal, and maritime environments, scaling from 150 to 300+ sites. 
• Configure and seamlessly integrate advanced hardware (sensors, gateways) with robust software (edge collectors, cloud pipelines). 
• Drive successful on-site installations, network setups, and troubleshooting across Europe, ensuring uninterrupted data integrity. 
• Create exceptional documentation (architecture diagrams, technical runbooks) that empowers support and operational teams. 
• Continuously optimize solutions by capturing field insights, influencing product innovation, and enhancing client satisfaction. 

What You Bring

• Proven expertise in deploying industrial IoT solutions, underpinned by strong Linux administration and networking skills. 
• Hands-on experience with essential industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA), enabling seamless integration of complex systems. 
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts clearly for diverse audiences. 
• Ability and willingness to travel to client sites within the Netherlands and Europe for field deployments. 
• Valid work authorization in the Netherlands (visa sponsorship available). 

Nice to Have

• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or automation scripting (Python, Bash). 
• Experience in renewable-energy or maritime industries, enhancing your immediate impact. 
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS IoT services.
