Why this Role Matters

As Project Manager, you will lead offshore safety system projects that directly protect lives in hazardous industrial environments. By enabling smarter Red Zone monitoring and deployment, your work supports real-time decisions that prevent incidents, reduce downtime, and drive safer offshore operations, core to Helin’s mission.

What You'll Achieve

• Lead and deliver offshore Red Zone projects from kick-off to commissioning
• Collaborate with hardware, software, data, and engineering teams to align scope, resources, and timelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building trust and managing expectations
• Coordinate offshore deployment and commissioning activities while ensuring safety and compliance
• Translate customer needs into technical deliverables and contribute to solution design
• Manage risks, budgets, documentation, and project reporting
• Drive continuous improvement, feeding learnings back into Helin’s delivery process
• Travel offshore and to customer sites as needed

What You Bring

• Your background in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or equivalent experience enables you to understand complex technical systems 
• Proven track record of delivering projects in technical, hardware, or SaaS environments, ideally within offshore or industrial settings 
• Project management certification (Prince2, PMP, or IPMA preferred) and expertise with Agile and Waterfall methodologies 
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, PLCs, and industrial networks 
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and collaborating across hardware and software domains 
• Confident stakeholder engagement skills, driving alignment in complex environments 
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with software or data platform implementation projects.
• Thrives in scale-up environments and enjoys bringing clarity to fast-moving, sometimes chaotic situations.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with strong ownership of outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Additional offshore HSE certifications or willingness to obtain before deployment.
